AuditClub Academy: For Accounting Students
Are you a talented high school or rising college student seeking an accountant training program that offers an exceptional learning experience and an accelerated CPA career path? Learn how you can become our next AuditClub Academy cadet!

We’re On a Mission
At AuditClub, we’re tackling one of our profession’s biggest problems head-on—the declining number of students pursuing accounting and auditing degrees and CPA certification. Our innovative AuditClub Academy program is designed to nurture interest in auditing careers and accelerate professional development for promising accounting students.

This Isn’t A Traditional Internship…It’s Much More
Talented high school and college accounting students will be selected for year-round, part-time on-demand roles as AuditClub Academy cadets. While continuing their education, cadets will gain professional experience working with a team of chief auditors and crew supporting multiple CPA firm members or private companies who have engaged AuditClub.

CREW SPOTLIGHT
Meet Connor Murdock, Our Newest Senior Crew
Connor is a licensed CPA with over 5 years of public accounting experience, performing both external audits and M&A due diligence for Big 4 and regional firms.
Connor has spent much of his time in public accounting in an external auditor role, where he served a variety of industries, with a focus on healthcare providers and not-for-profit entities. During this time, Connor helped drive the efficiency of audit engagements by gaining an understanding of his clients' business processes and engaging in data analytics to assist in the risk assessment and testing processes, which, in turn, saved time and money for the clients he served.
Connor’s role with AuditClub is not only to help fill staffing needs as they arise but also to bring his experience to drive quality improvements to the members he serves.

The Work Our Cadets Do
Cadet work assignments span a broad range of activities, assisting chief auditors and crew with everything from document preparation to inspections and testing.
- Preparation of audit or review workpapers for public and private clients
- Consulting and researching technical accounting and auditing issues
- Conducting pre-issuance reviews and post-issuance inspections of assurance engagements
- Testing a CPA firm’s system of quality control
- Supporting CPA firms undergoing a PCAOB inspection or AICPA peer review
- Composing quality control policies and procedures
- Developing training materials on relevant accounting and auditing topics
The Goal of AuditClub Academy
We want to ensure that cadets are eligible to be licensed as a CPA the moment they complete the 150-hour requirement. Assuming exceptional performance throughout their time within AuditClub Academy, graduating cadets would be commissioned as full-time senior members of our AuditClub Crew at a higher pay scale, thereby accelerating their public accounting career.
